|lauradeal.com||Laura K. Deal has been writing poems and stories since childhood. She’s a founding member of the critique group Uff da Cum Laude, which formed in 1991 but didn’t receive a name until around 1996, when the group gamely read and critiqued her history dissertation. Without the Uff das, she would never have stayed in the game long enough to connect with the Wild Writers in 2004. Her fiction debuted in Cricket Magazine with “The Silent Meadow.” She has since been published in a number of anthologies. Laura is also a Certified Dream Work Facilitator through the Marin Institute for Projective Dream Work. She’s a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, the International Association for the Study of Dreams, Pikes Peak Writers, and BroadUniverse.
