Ceil Boyles worked for several years as a researcher in early child development and youth corrections. While her writing during that time was of a technical nature, both fields provided her with a wealth of knowledge as she embarked on her second career, writing books for children. She has won awards for middle grade, tween and YA novels, including two first place and two second place awards in the Pikes Peak Writers Paul Gillette contests, and a finalist award in the Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers Colorado Gold Contest. Ceil lives with her husband in Parker, Colorado where squirrels play chase in her yard, and deer feast on her gardens. |
